Assessing the significance and mapping the diverse values of natural and cultural heritage
are essential prerequisites for efficient management. Various tools and techniques have
been developed at a regional, national and international level to facilitate such tasks. The
tool at hand combines existing methods and aims at facilitating experts from beyond the
heritage sector to map the diverse values of both natural and cultural assets (i.e. sites or
elements).
